You can also organise your meals flexibly: in our self-service delicatessen corner, you can choose from our delicatessen station at any time or enjoy your own food - without any fixed meal times. Whether early, late, after a meeting or when the little ones are asleep - we have something to eat and drink around the clock. For a real "back to nature" experience, our idyllic barbecue areas are also at your disposal. The inspiring story of the Bergers.

When the Berger couple discovered the former AWO (Workers' Welfare Association) property, they immediately felt the special energy of this place. The AWO, an organisation that has been committed to social justice and community for over 100 years, had shaped this place - and the Bergers recognised its unique potential.

Using their experience from their first hotel, the renowned "edita" hotel, the Bergers began to breathe new life into the house. They preserved the original values of the house - humanity, community and hospitality - and combined them with a modern vision. The result is a sustainable bed & breakfast experience that brings the Allgäu countryside to life and invites guests to relax and socialise.

The fact that the Berger couple have opened a hotel again at the age of 91 shows that passion, dedication and love for people know no age limits. Their heartfelt project is now a place full of warmth and inspiration - created for everyone who wants to feel nature, celebrate life and feel good all round.
