Adventure excursions for young and old

The forest adventure trail is a real highlight for young and old explorers alike. It winds its way through an enchanted forest, leads over steps and suspension bridges past babbling waterfalls and opens up views of mysterious clearings. There are lots of exciting things to discover about the local flora and fauna along the way.

Another natural spectacle is the Skywalk Allgäu forest world - a treetop trail that takes you right into the heart of lush fir trees and up close to the sky. And if the weather is favourable, the view extends as far as Lake Constance.

In addition to the many nature experiences, it's worth immersing yourself in Allgäu culture. Feel the charm of the region on a cosy carriage ride, experience how the famous holes are made in the cheese at the village dairy and enjoy a refreshing dip at the Scheidegg waterfalls or in the alpine outdoor pool.

Nature, tradition and adventure - all this awaits right on the doorstep!

Tobogganing fun right on site

The hilly Allgäu is known for its countless toboggan slopes. The toboggan slope at the foot of the Kreuzberg and the slope opposite the hotel "edita" are particularly popular. You can hire toboggans(Sport Hauber in Scheidegg) and find a perfectly groomed long toboggan run at the Imbergbahn in Oberstaufen. Here you can take the gondola up the mountain in comfort and off you go.

Skiing and snowboarding paradise

The nearest lift is the Luggi-Leitner lift in Möggers. With almost one kilometre of pistes, the T-bar lift offers varied sections for beginners and advanced skiers. There is also a ski school offering courses for the little snow bunnies. Larger ski areas can be reached by car in 30 minutes in the Bregenzerwald or in Oberstaufen.

Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing

Through Scheidegg and Scheffau there are skating and cross-country skiing trails of easy to medium difficulty. The Waldsee-Alpsee offers the super-challenge with a length of 50 km. With snowshoes, on the other hand, you can explore the surrounding areas completely independently and freely. On request, we can also take care of the equipment hire for you.
